Default Error when creating resources (Ch.3)

I add simple values at my /res/values/strings.xml

<color name="app_background">#FF0000FF</color>

It crash when run with error message
"Todo_List]Error in an XML file: aborting build."

Default String.xml file is the wrong place to put it

xnajoan,

You need to create a new colors.xml file in which this line would be. The strings.xml file will, to the best of my knowledge, only compile if it has string elements inside it. The new colors.xml file should still be in the values folder, however.
