Default Android Open Accessory Programming with Arduino

Ok, I'm somewhat new to android and need to connect an NFC device to my android platform. Using the Wrox book Professional Android Open Accessory Programming with Arduino I tried making a MQTT library to smooth usb communication between my android and arduino ADK processors, but am running into problems with the steps and code provided in (and with) the book. Any advice on this would be appreciated

Default P2PMQTT Library

I got a link from David, one of the authors of the book, to the P2PMQTT and other source code in the book in a better format than the hundreds of zip files included with the book download:
