Smile Can't make AVD android virtual device in Eclipse on Win 7...

Hi

i'm pretty new in AoA - Android Open Accessory programming, just setup All things necessary on a Window 7 notebook
installed Java7 SE, JDK 7 (only "7" available in oracle.com) installed Eclipse and Android SDK
all look/work OK, but when I started few examples, I Can Not make any AVD Emulator. clicked "OK" button, ALWAYs "nothing happened", nothing showing up even 10-20 min later
I tried to change the Compiler level to 1.6 from 1.7, still all not work..

I also have Java 6 installed in this Win 7 machine.
for now, I can't use USB cable to connect to a real phone yet. (in phone/tablet "Settings", I could not find any "Developer mode/options")

Can anyone get a chance to help me ? maybe Win XP paltform will be much straight forward ?

thanks!
