Default Chapter 6 - BAM Excel Add-In using Excel 2007

The BAM Excel Add-In, used in chapter 6, doesn't behave well when used in Excel 2007, if combined with a BizTalk version prior to BizTalk 2006 R2. (You will receieve an error when pivot tables are to be created). If you are using an earlier version of BizTalk (including BizTalk 2006) you will need to use Excel 2003.

In Excel 2007 the BAM Add-In can be found by clicking the Office button (round button in the top left corner), Excel Options, Add-Ins. At the bottom of the page select "Manage Excel Add-Ins" and click "Go...". Mark the Add-In named "Business Activity Monitoring" and click ok. A tab named Add-Ins will show up in the top menu. Clicking on the tab will display the BAM add-in.
