Default BES services monitoring and notification

Just curious to see what your preferred method of BES service monitoring/recovery if crashed is. As every admin knows, reliability/uptime is absolutely necessary and I have had a few instances where the MDS had stopped/crashed requiring someone to go in and actually turn it back on again.

RIM has no recommendations, I know of a few solutions (whatsup gold, MS service recovery) but would like to get first hand opinions before I go further.

TIA,

Henry
