Default How to get the client info in C# web-page?

Dears,

We are developing a web based application for computer inventory and we want to capture client's sytem information like ip address,computer name, ram , hdd etc. please help.

is there any other optional way to resolve my problem.

The IP Address can be obtained from: Request.ServerVariables("REMOTE_ADDR");

For everything else (detailed system information) you will need to write some sort of custom app (ActiveX or Java based would be the most logical choices) that the user must install on their PC.

Request.ServerVariables("REMOTE_ADDR"); returns only local id i.e 127.0.0.1 and nothing. can you please tell me any way to find out that activeX
