Default Installing MonoCross Templates in MonoDevelop

According to the book, I should select Tools -> Add-in Manager and select the Gallery tab, then select the MonoCross MonoDevelop Templates installation package for Mac OS.

When I try to install the templates in MonoDevelop on OS X, I go to MonoDevelop -> Add-in Manager, and click on the Gallery tab, I don't have an option for the MonoCross templates, even when selecting "All repositories." How do I install the templates in MonoDevelop on OS X? Or is it only for MonoDevelop on Windows?

I would prefer to do my Android and iOS development on Mac/MonoDevelop and my WP7 development on Windows/Visual Studio.

Default Updated MonoDevelop Templates and Instructions

Xamarin has changed the process for installing templates since the book was published; they moved the Add-in Manager to the MonoDevelop menu.

We have also changed the template installation from the Gallery to installing from a file. This makes distribution easier, and allows us to push updates through the monocross.net website.

I've attached the updated templates for both MonoDevelop 2.8 and 3.0 to this thread. The .zip includes a Readme.rtf file with the updated instructions. We will also make this archive available on monocross.net in the near future.

Hope this helps...
