Default What controls ("$250 worth of controls") ?

the Wrox descriptions show the chapter in the ToC and the sample chapter on ASPxGridView, but exactly what controls are on the accompanying CD/DVD ?

In particular, does CD include ALL of the controls that the book describes (which are presumably the mainstream ones that DevXpress wants us to understand and use) ?

May we load controls off CD onto other machines for development (e.g. my laptop or home machine) ?

Can we develop using these controls and redistribute for realtime-only execution on additional machines (e.g. onto our PROD servers, or even sell-on completed apps to 3rd-party end-users) ?

I suggest that the book should give the full story of what these $250 controls are (so we can compare against DX's sales catalog to decide if these are mainstream or fringe, and what strings are attached).

IMHO if the book is so great (and I am sure it IS!) then you should trumpet the advantages to encourage widespread uptake by new customers, thus benefitting Wrox (more booksales) & DX (more new customers and sell-thru) & public (me!).

TIA
Dick

Default Free Controls

Are free. You can use them any where on any machine. Many of the more advanced controls are available for purchase, but you can always download trial versions to get your feet wet. Thanks for reading the book.
