Default error deleting module

I have imported the GuestbookCS module using the sample downloadable code from this site. When I try to uninstall the module by clicking on 'UnInstall Package' I get this error:

Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException : Version string portion was too short or too long. ---> System.ArgumentException: Version string portion was too short or too long. at System.Version..ctor(String version) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.FileInsta ller.ReadManifestItem(XPathNavigator nav, Boolean checkFileExists) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.FileInsta ller.ReadManifest(XPathNavigator manifestNav) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.Installer Factory.GetInstaller(XPathNavigator manifestNav, PackageInfo package) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.PackageIn staller.ReadComponents(XPathNavigator manifestNav) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installers.PackageIn staller..ctor(PackageInfo package) at DotNetNuke.Services.Installer.Installer..ctor(Pack ageInfo package, String physicalSitePath) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Extensions.UnInstall.UnIn stallPackage() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Extensions.UnInstall.cmdU ninstall_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Do you know how to fix this error? Thanks.

Angry error deleting module

It's one year later after the initial post: I just started reading the book and have the same problem when uninstalling the module....

That's quite frustrating, since I was not able to get the module work at all, and I noticed that this happened to some other people in this forum.
