Default Chapter14-Jar detail new feature

Hi
I am writing these lines only to find the one of the two new features that has not been added in the the text especially so on page 625 under the topic Exploring Java Archives though the other one is available on the table ( ioption)

A new API that a delete-on-close mode that is used for when opening JAR files is not explained in the text.I request the authors to verify and add the same if not done already
Thanks

Unfortunately, since the book is 12 years old, I don't think the authors are answering questions on it any more. Sorry I can't be of more help.
