On your bigger question, what in the book won't work in PHP 5.3? Nothing that I'm aware of. If you hit something that isn't backwards compatible, we'd encourage you to share it here.

That's what I wanted to hear.
Great book. Even for 5.3.
Maybe something 5.3 specific has to be added, like namespaces and closures, but I still have to dig into the depths of the book, since I received it yesterday, so I'm not sure.
Anyway it'll be easy to integrate/incorporate.
