Hi there,
I have to learn creating web applications in rails and in order of that I got this book. The thing is, that have no idea, what I'm doing or what should I be doing.
For a start, let's have some terminology practise:
ruby - programming language, that's easy
rails - framework for ruby to create web pages. I don't really know what the framework is, but I see, that it's something with the web
grails - not a clue.
Jruby - the same ruby, but implemented in java, I guess.

Well, I have the IDE inteliJ Idea 8, instalation was brute, but I made it word. Now the next point is to create a rails project...even one which is doing nothing, just is.

If anyone will help me, I would be so grateful.
