Default Install Server Farm in Local PC

Hi All,
This book looks very good after purchasing this book I feel very confident from SharePoint 2010 administration side,But from my point of view we can make this book more better and best by giving some images or Screen Shots. Such as in Lesson number 5 you described about Upgrading Moss 2007 to SharePoint 2010,It would have been much better if you would have described with images or screen shots.

For the first time I am trying to install SharePoint 2010 Farm in my local system. When it asks me to specify User Name and Password for Credentials after giving Database Server Name ,I am entering windows credentials which is having full control in Sql too and finally click next ,Then it is displaying information as "This Credentials are used for Local Systems".I would like to know Can't we install SharePoint 2010 Farm in Local PC or not,If yess help me in solving this issue.Hope you help me
