First I would like to say that your book is very informative. But I am experiencing a mental block and hope someone could easily explain something that I cannot find the answer to.
In reading Chapter 9, Electronic Forms, you talk about InfoPath 2010 and creating the Training Management Application. I have created a list and a form in InfoPath. I can put items in with no issue. My challenge is trying to UPDATE.
For Example: I have 10 different items in the list. I can FIND and PULL information from the list and place it into the form. That is good.
Then when this information is displayed and the user want to CHANGE the information and NOT add another item. (When I try to change I get an additional item instead of 10 items I now get 11 with a duplicate plus changes)
I know it has to be very simple to just change information after you search the database but I cannot find any information in How to do the change. PLEASE give a simple example in how to do this.
