Default Prerequisites to this book

Hi,

I'm currently reading Beginning C# 3.0 : An Introduction to Object Oriented Programming, and I plan on taking up Beginning ASP.NET 3.5 : in C# and VB next. This is where I'm getting all the experience from, I have no background in programming (yet). My question is whether I'd be fine reading this book after those, or would I need a bridging book before? It seems to talk a lot about REST from what I see in the preview, so would I need another book to introduce me to that?

Thanks!
