Default Can REXX change directories

...and leave them changed once the script has exited? I'm using Regina Rexx.

Yes you could even code Preserve and Restore execs to preserve an environment and optionally restore it later. How you trap existing directories will depend on the OS you are running. Change directories by issuing the native command in rexx surrounded by quotes or ticks or by using address command.
