I am working on the Desktop Weather project in chapter one. I have finished with the coding, however when I try to run the program, I get the following message:
"DesktopWeather.GetWeatherData: Uri formats are not supported."
I have reviewed the coding side by side to the downloaded code and it appears to be identical. Is there a setting in VB 2005 that deals with this? I don't see how, as my code is identical to downloaded code. However when I update my web reference, I end up with a Reference. vb file and a Reference.Map. The Reference.vb file has a warning symbol next to it.
Any ideas on how to remedy this will be greatly appreciated.
