Visual Basic 2005 SQL server error; "SQLEVN70.RLL"
Just start getting this error; "Your Sql Server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with (Could not open sqlevn70.rll)." Is there a fix to resolve this error? It was working find after I completed chapter 4.
Unfortunately it appears that your SQL Server installation has become corrupt. Have you installed any other software (even antivirus updates) between the time it was working and now? Microsoft says the remedy is to uninstall SQL Server and reinstall it to reset its configuration and associated application files back to defaults. Have you tried doing this with the SQL Server Express setup on the disc that accompanies the book?
i also experience this kind of problem. I use PCTuneup Utilities, and when i scan my drive, the PCTuneup fixed the Active X and others. After i fixed those many problems in PCTouneup, the Visual Studio(specially the VB 2005 i used) is not working. VB 2005 now cannot create forms beacuse of those corrupt files. Microsoft say to uninstall VB 2005, SQL 2005 and MSDN to work it again but MSDN cannot be uninstall.
i used Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition For Software Developers.
