Talking which field in C#

Hello friends i am studying "Beginning Visual C# 2010" EBook now i want ask you which field in c# do you SUGGEST? ASP or ADO or WPF or....?

If you are going to just get started, you should go with WPF. Although it wasn't in your list, I would also recommend Silverlight.
