Default datagrids question -- finding a specific row

I have a datagrid (windows forms) and I want to get the exact infomation on a row. I have a double click event where it finds the currentrowindex, and I can the use the dataset associated with the datagrid and point at the row on the dataset. However, when you sort the dataset on the datagrid the currentrowindex does not point to the right row in the dataset. Any Ideas?
