Hi all,

I need to encrypt image files and convert the extension to something else like .dat, so that noone can see the image directly.Only my software should be used to view images.

How to encrypt and decrypt image file??

You could transform the image file into a byte stream, encrypt that byte stream, and then write out a .DAT file. To view the image you would just run the process in reverse, open the dat file, unencrypt the data and save the file back out as a .jpg or whatever.
