Default Install .NET framework on Visual studio 2003?

Can it be done?

I just installed the .NET Framework 2.o SDK but I still can't access the System.IO.Ports namespace!!

I need serial port!!! also I don't know why teh MScomm does not appear on the COM components list.. god damn it!

I don't want to use third party components, any ideia? how can i install the .Net 2.0 on visual studio 2003 (.NET)??

Thank you! please i need this for tomorrow morning :(

Simply put: you can't. You need to use VS2005 or another editor that will support the 2.0 framework.

You could also download the free Visual Studio 2005 Express edition.
