Default auto-refresh page with asp?

Is there any way to refresh a page based on something like a timer with ASP rather then java in the header?

ASP is a server-side language, so all you can do is generate the javascript code or META refresh tag to refresh the page.

You could possibly use client side VbScript, but then you might as well use JavaScript.
