Default write multi-sheet Excel w/o Excel.Application

I've got a new class, ASPBIFF8 that will write a native Excel 97/2k workbook w/multiple worksheets and random write ability (nonadjacent cells). It is a pure VBScript 5+ class designed to be used as a simple include file, and does not utilize the Excel.Application or any other COM object (not even any Server.CreateObject statements at all).

http://sourceforge.net/projects/aspbiff8 (for downloads, feedback, support)
http://aspbiff8.sourceforge.net (for examples, demo, etc.)

It writes text, integer and decimal values now, but before I continue investing development time to add formatting and formulas, am wondering what the interest level is.

Let me know.

By the way if anyone knows of other good places to post this, please let me know and feel free to do spread the word yourselves.

I'd love help, by the way.

Tim

It now supports formatting, except (as yet) for colors, styles, and number formats.

This is great...good job.

One question though. My users don't have MS Excel their machines, only good old Quattro Pro.

The spreadsheet opens up fine but all values entered that are NOT numeric show up as the standard "rectangle symbol" (carriage return?) in the cell.

Not sure if there's anything I can change in there...

Thanks!
