I've got a new class, ASPBIFF8 that will write a native Excel 97/2k workbook w/multiple worksheets and random write ability (nonadjacent cells). It is a pure VBScript 5+ class designed to be used as a simple include file, and does not utilize the Excel.Application or any other COM object (not even any Server.CreateObject statements at all).
http://sourceforge.net/projects/aspbiff8 (for downloads, feedback, support)
http://aspbiff8.sourceforge.net (for examples, demo, etc.)
It writes text, integer and decimal values now, but before I continue investing development time to add formatting and formulas, am wondering what the interest level is.
Let me know.
By the way if anyone knows of other good places to post this, please let me know and feel free to do spread the word yourselves.
I'd love help, by the way.
Tim
There may be no stupid questions, but I've sure met a lot of inquisitive idiots.
