[ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] !!!Error!!!
Hello Guyz.
I`ve made some pages on ASP and the db I use is MS Access with a DSN connection. I`ve built all this on Windows 2000 Pro" and yesterday I tried to run localy these pages on my other pc where I use "Windows XP". I made the same settings as I had done on "Windows 2000 pro". Everything was working fine except "Insert, Update and Delete" records (but reading from the db was ok). The error that was coming up is the following.
Microsoft OLE DB Provider fro ODBC Drivers (0x80004005) [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.
Are you familiar with this? If so please help me... cause I don`t know how to fix this problem. :(

Hi
Could it be an permissions issue!! never worked on MSAccess.
may be read write permissions from administrator!!!
Go to tools, there in Security, you can click on User and Group Permissions, and then check all update, insert etc statements to true and try it over again.
Regards
sinapra

Right now I`m not able to try this. But when I`ll try it I`ll let you know if it works fine or not. :)
