Can someone please guide me in making a connection to an Oracle database on another server? I have installed Oracle 8i in our web server hoping that I can get connection.

I am getting the following error message:

Oracle Automation error '800a01b8'

Unable to make connection, ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

/development/Connection.asp, line 21


Below is my connection code:

I see where I went wrong, I forgot to put in the database name.
