Wrox Wins 2010 Code Project Members Choice Award
This week at Microsoft TechEd 2010, The Code Project announced their 2010 Members Choice Awards. We were thrilled to find out that Wrox was voted winner for Books. Thanks to all the Code Project members who took the time to vote in this and thanks to our many authors and technical editors who deserve the credit for the award-winning content.
It's also great to see that several of our authors work at companies who also received awards for their products. Working with authors like this is what makes our jobs here fun. The award-winning authors I spotted are:
- Paul Kimmel with DevExpess who won for ASP.NET UI Components: Developer Express DXperience ASP.NET and General Development Tools: Developer Express CodeRush
- Ambrose Little, Jason Beres, Grant Hinkson, Devin Rader, Joe Croney, and Craig ****maker with Infragistics who won for Component Suites: Infragistics NetAdvantage for .NET and WPF
- Scott Cate, Matt Ranlett, and Dan Wahlin who have all done videos for AppDev which won for Training.
Authors, if your company won a Code Project Members Choice award and I missed listing you, please let me know so I can add it.

About the Author
I'm the Associate Publisher for Wrox. I work with all of our acquisitions staff who select the authors and topics for our books. Prior to this role, I was an acquisitions editor working mostly on ASP.NET, JavaScript, SharePoint, and a lot of other fun topics. I'm lucky to have worked with some of the best programmer authors in the business. My degrees are in Math (BA and MA) and Physics (BA) and in addition to this blog and my "day job" for Wrox, you'll find me helping as many readers as I can in the p2p.wrox.com forums.
