Default stretching the background image??

hi all,
 How shall I stretch a background-image so that it fits the whole area of an arbitrary content with no definit size ??

You can't. Stretching is in CSS 3 but support is years away. With current CSS you can stop a background from tiling or make it tile in only one direction, you can position it and make it not scroll with the page. That's about it.

You can position an inline image behind the text and give it a width in %. It may work OK sometimes. It depends.

nerssi, perhaps check this one out (but IE of course messes it up, no hack yet, anyone...????)
