Default Page Layout Problem

I was making a page in dreamweaver from imageready slices using the layout view. I have always had a problem with cell and tables shifting and stretching for no apparent reason or looking all fine in the DW layout window and messed up in ie browser.
In this case, the site is split in to 3 columns which a 3 tables within the big table. when ever I add content to the table on the left, the 2 other tables do not extend to the bottom of the main table or sometimes some cells don't touch each other, even though It seems as if they do so in the DW layout window.

1. Can someone help me with this problem, if what I saying doesn't make sense and if u got the time u could look at the page itself here >> www.the-spades.netfirms.com

2. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I avoid this kind of problem in the future?

Thanx

Hi there,

If the cells don't touch each other, try removing the white space from the source file. This shouldn't be necessary according to the specs, but some browsers have problems with it (I know IE and Firefox do in some circumstances). So, this may not work:

<td>
  <img src="/Image.gif" />
</td>

while this may:

<td><img src="/Image.gif" /></td>

Cheers,

Imar
