Default VBA recordset

Hi Guru's

does someone know if it is possible to create in an OPEN workbook a recordset on a sheet, I want to use the power of ADO within Excel,

Please reply all possible suggestions / answers

Do you want to connect to SQL, Oracle, Unix, Text files, Access or another data source.
