Default Limiting a combo box to default list

How can you configure a combo box on a user form to accept free form entries from the user? The combo box would act like a typical drop down from a web page and only allow the user to select a value from the initial list.

I saw in Access that they had a property called "Limit to List" that you could use. However, I did not see this same property in Excel.

I am guessing it is something very simple that I have just overlooked.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

I'm not a 100% sure what you mean...do you want the user to be able to input entries for the combo box? Or will they always be pre-defined?

Also, there are 2 ways to create a combo box in Excel, using the Form toolbox, and the Controls toolbox. Which one are you using? That will make it easier to give directions.
