ecel 2007 macro

i have a 2003 excel program written by a friend for me. I am now using 2007 and the macro error reads.
Selection.ShapeRange.Fill.Solid.

i have done all the addin etc but to no avail. the macro is to change a heading on a compass . can any one help me pls
