Default Can You Download FLA files in Flash?

Hi all,

I asked this same question at Flash Kit so I will take whichever answer I get at either place.

Here's my thing: I would like to maybe re-design my Flash Downloads page entirely in Flash. Thing is, I'm concerned about putting functionality in the Flash interface that will allow FLA files to be downloaded. I don't really want to use ColdFusion or stuff like it because I do not think that Geocities supports it. Is it possible to do things this way?

Code:
ActionScript

on (release) }
 getURL("somefile.fla");

Default

I found out that it is possible to do this. I just need to have the Flash interface on the same server as the FLA files.
