We are happy to announce the relaunch of the P2P Discussion Forum -- The Programmer's Resource Center! Now available for full use by all, P2P is the center for the tech community to "meet" to ask questions, give answers, and make comments. Thank you for your patience while we updated the site to make it faster and easier for you to use.

Here are just a few of the improvements that we have made to the site:

 

• Improved Web interface: We wanted to make P2P better for you -- faster, easier, simpler. Now you can easily access P2P wherever you go on any browser. The site has a fast architecture to make your Web experience the best it can be in the true forum fashion.

• Integrated search technology: This new functionality helps you quickly search anywhere on P2P to find out if your question has already been answered.
  
• Complete control of your subscriptions: Now you can subscribe to a particular topic to focus in on what you want to follow closely. You will receive e-mail notification and the message when something is posted to your subscribed forum, and you have the ability to search throughout all categories to see what else is going on.

And just some things you'd expect to keep:

 

• All previous P2P messages are permanently archived so all the knowledge that has been built and stored by the community is still available in the P2P Archive).

• The new P2P is built on open source ASP technology -- one of the cornerstone topics of Wrox Press!
  
• We have retained all of the popular forums and have removed some of the least traveled topics to make it less confusing for you to select the forums that interest you. Thorough forum descriptions help to distinguish the categories. If in the future you find the need for additional forums, let us know!
