i am trying to develop a web based search engine and web crawler so i need help from all the experts out there. i would like to use SQL Server 2005 as by data backend. please help me and point me valuable resources and provide some insight to this difficult endeavour.
This is quite a broad question you're asking here, and not something you can answer in a single post.
Do you have any background in programming a database driven application? Do you know how to access a database? Do you have a plan with specifications for this application? What is it you want it to do exactly?
I think you need to be more specific to get useful help. That is, if you need technical advice.
