Default lastModified info for another page

I want to put a script on Page-A that displays the lastModified information for Page-B

I can do it for the current page but I want it displayed on an index page when certain other pages on the site have been updated

If you can use a server language, this is possible.

Do you have access to a server language? (ASP, CGI, PHP, CF, JSP, etc.)

Thanks for your reply!
It finally occurred to me that this needs to be server-side, and since the page I want to put the code on is simply HTML and changing the page type is out of the question. I will need to do without I guess.
