Default Professional JavaScript Frameworks in Wrox First

We've made another book available in the new Wrox First wiki program. You can now get Professional JavaScript Frameworks: Prototype, jQuery, YUI, ExtJS, Dojo and MooTools http://javascript-frameworks.wrox.com/ by Leslie M. Orchard, Ara Pehlivanian, and Brian LeRoux in the Wrox First wiki.

What is the Wrox First wiki? For each book we put into this program, subscribers to that book can get the entire book as it's being written, long before it's published. In this case, we've posted 3 chapters to start, 1 each from the YUI, Dojo, and MooTools sections of the book. We'll post more draft chapters each week. And when the authors revise their drafts after their edits we'll post those too. And we'll post a final version when the book publishes too.

This book isn't scheduled to publish for 5-6 months so starting today Wrox First Professional JavaScript Frameworks subscribers can get access to it and put Les, Ara, and Brian's knowledge to work right away. And subscribers can also make comments on each section, give feedback, ask the authors for changes in later drafts, anything that might make the book more useful.

Thanks to all of these authors for their excitement about being involved in this new program.

Default

We've now got 9 chapters posted from this book in the http://javascript-frameworks.wrox.com wiki. The current count includes 2 YUI chapters (Traversing and Manipulating the DOM with YUI, Handling Cross-Browser Events), 4 Dojo (Enhancing Development with Dojo Core, Manipulating the DOM, Handling Events and Composing Animations, Working with AJAX and Dynamic Data), and 3 MooTools (Enhancing Development with MooTools, Manipulating the DOM and Handling Events, Simplifying AJAX and Handling Dynamic Data). We'll be adding more of those soon as well as the first ProtoType chapter.
