Dependent drop down list advice
Hello all.
First off, please excuse my total lack of knowledge when it comes to this....but that is why I am here in the first place, to learn right?
I was hoping somebody could advise me on the following: I was trying out this dependent drop down list for states populated by country and it works fine, but when I load it into my table in mysql, using php, it loads the code created for the country and state instead of the full name. So instead of displaying United States when pulled out mysql, it displays US....and so forth.
Here is the link to the code so you can see what I am talking about : http://javascript.internet.com/forms...drop-down.html
I am not looking for somebody to come and do all the slog work for me, but Im just confused as to where to change it. My js knowledge is clearly lacking big time!
thanks in advance
Clint

Hi there,
The code you linked to works fine, so the problem must be in your custom My SQL / PHP code. I think you're better off posting that code in one of the PHP categories here at Wrox.com.
Cheers,
Imar
