Bluetooth GPRS Internet connection with Ubuntu7.10
Hi All
For the past one month, i am trying to establish internet connection between my cellphone Sony Ericsson W810i and my Acer laptop 4152 nlci. My laptop is having inbuilt bluetooth. I tried all the things which was said in Ubuntu Forums, I am not able to pair my phone. I installed all the packages which was there in Ubuntu 7.10. The package name obex-ftp is not there in my system by default.
$ Sudo apt-get install cc mac address
Till here everything works fine
i restart my bluetooth services after that.
gnome Bluetooth applet appears as that the device is discoverable.
then..
$ sudo apt-get install auth mac address
I get the error as " NOT CONNECTED "
I have correctly edited rfomm.conf file, even ppp and chatscripts file...
, i even restarted the system but still i am getting the error.
Please help me as i am really getting frustrated with Linux and i dont want my love for linux to go for Windows.
Please tell me complete step by step procedure as i am a nobe to linux...
