Default Need info about MySQL

Hello,

Does anybody know if you plan to install MySQL on a server, do you need to buy the software, or will the free version be OK for that too?

Also, has anybody ran the software on the same server as IIS, and have you had any complications.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi,

Free version would do. But I have installed and used that only with on a linux box, not on that runs IIS, so I am unable to comment on complications, without having experienced it.

MySQL installs easily on Windows platforms, there is no configuration you need to do with IIS.

There are only two stupid questions: the one you don't ask, and the one you ask more than once ;)
