Anurag,
I know this is a late response, but I wanted to point you to a tool that might aid you in verifying your LDAP query results. MaxPowerSoft, http://maxpowersoft.com/products.php?i=1 produces Active Directory Reports and it can allow you to standardize your reporting based on how your company stores it's information within Active Directory. Not only does the tool support customizable reports, but it also includes a robust LDAP Browser where we have figured out how to accurately interpret the results. I think that as a developer you will find the tool to be helpful in converting the Active Directory object data structures.
Kind Regards,
Chris
