hey
i am new user of vb.net and i seriously want to know the basic functionalities and the difference between vb 6.0 and vb.net

Can u please help me out from this blonder?

it is almost totaly new and revolutionay concept
First of all u mind it that.net is a technology u can use diffrent laguages in the same project ,
u can use vb in one page and c# in other page writing Page Language="c#" or Page language="vb"

more than that u can develop web application eaisily Html is autogenerated,it plateform independent bcos it has two time compilation facility, read about clr also

the main diff b/w vb6 and vb.net is,vb is object based
and vb.net is object oriented.vb6 can not be used to code ASP
where as vb.net complete language will be used as codebehind for ASP.net
there is no dll hell in vb.net.i.e we can have same assembly with different version.In vb6 u cant have COM with different versions
distributed architecure remoting and web services increases its scope and performance
