Developing .NET app to access other's machine

Hi Friends!!

I need to develop a .NET app(it can be a windows app or a Web Service) for my network admin... The app will take the IP Address of the user along with his Windows login name and password and will allow the Administrator to shutdown any user's machine or control any activity on that user's machine...The user can be anybody within the organisation or even outside the Intranet...Can somebody help me in this...I need to know how one can go abt developing such an app and what rights one should have for this purpose???

Hi,

For developing such kind of the application you will have to use Windows APIs whether you will use any language.

This will be very big application or i can say big Project.

if u will ask for help in any perticular problem it will be esy for me to answer that problem.

As per me, my personal opinon ,
that if u will do this in C#.net it will be good or even i prefer vc++6.0 of visual studio 6.0.

Hi Manav!

What I exactly want to know is can one develop an app in .NET using Web Service which will perform the functionality mentioned in my post... I don't hve much of an idea regarding Web Service and haven't use them much but I need to create something like PCAnywhere or Remote desktop kind of utility which my System Admin can use to control/administer user's computer...I need to make a Web Service so that it can be accessed outside my office too. I need to do it fast... I want to know can we do Network programming in C# and can we use that here....

hello friends,
i have big problem i need the help of you guys to solve for me,
i was given as a project in my school to redevelop an application already existing.
it is software called Email Address Finder(Eaf),how do i go about it.....
i don't know how to get the source code,and redevelop it accept other inputs.
