Hi, I am new to codeigniter and i have just started learning from the book.I have created the home page as described using localhost And NOW,Want To create categories page to display on separate Page But View is not loading (As mentioned on PAGE 96 of Book).I have tried other category link but it is still showing the message:

Not Found
The requested URL /CodeIgniter/welcome/cat/4
was not found on this server.

I cant proceed with my Code And other pages unless i know where The Problem is and how can i solve this problem????Help me PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!http://p2p.wrox.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Is your .htaccess file ok?
1. If your installation is not in the server root you will need to amend the RewriteBase line from “RewriteBase /” to “RewriteBase /folder/”

If the name of your application is claudiaskids:
write
RewriteBase /claudiaskids/
in the .access file
