ASP and AJAX, get data from database without refreshing page
 

Hi,

I'm looking for a function to embed into an ASP page to call a MYSQL database and check for updates/changes every 60 seconds for example. Then post those updates (if any) to a html table without the page refreshing.

I've worked with classic ASP for years but AJAX/JQuery is very new.

Any help will be much appreciated.

use update panel
 

Hi,

put your html table under update panel and if u trigger 60 interval period than use timer control.
