Default error:unable to find vcversall.bat


I am using pyhton 2.6, djnago1.0.4 framework in windows XP, now i am trying to install mysqldb ie. Mysql-Python-1.2.2

>>python setup.py build

one error is coming Error: Unable to find vcvarsall.bat

then i install visual studio express edition 2008. after that error is still there.
any path is setting for this? Please Help mee..
