Default Customizing Discussion Thread

Hi,

My requirement is to customize the discussion forum. If the user attach the file in the discussion thread, it should display the file name with hyperlink. The user has to able to view the file content when they click the file name instead of default way ( by clicking the view properties and see the file name and content). How do i achieve this?

P.S : I dont have Sharepoint desingner, can i achieve this through browser?

Thanks in advance.
