Default storing special special characters in nvarchar...

hi everybody, i'm havin' problems storing special characters in nvarchar defined fields. i need to store large amount of text in spanish and when it get stored all the spanish special characters get dissapeared (á,í,ó,ú,ñ...etc...). any sugestions?

i have not define any collation yet, i've beeen reading 'bout it but i cannot get the idea of what collation would be the best choice for me, traditional or modern spanish? thanks...
