Default Crystal Reports 8.5 with SQL 2000

I'm using CR8.5 to pull data from a MS SQL 2000 database. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but my data needs to be sorted like this:

Client Name
   Client ID #1
   Client ID #2

Each client name may have more than one Client ID. The Client may be J&J Co. Each client ID may be for Sally (100) and for Joe (#179). The next client name may have more than 3 client ID#s. In my Crystal Reports report, I need to group each client name, then show the sales of each client ID#. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your help in advance!

I have a database table with a bunch of transactions.
Each transaction has a transaction code and date associated with it.
I want to generate or view the current date with selected transaction code only.

Can you help me pls?
